Construction Management Course

Things you must bring to the course!

The Construction Management course is Site Safe's highest-level management programme. Many Clients, Owners, Managers, Designers, Consultants and Contractors continue to struggle to manage safety. It is often viewed as an enigma - something that isn't quite understood and is therefore managed as a separate part of the construction process.

This course is designed to help industry integrate safety into all aspects of construction management including design, tendering, planning and monitoring. This integration ensures that New Zealand construction projects are safe and efficient, that timelines are met, that project costs are controlled and most importantly that people are safe doing their jobs.

Key topics on the course include:

  • Safety and profitability
  • Tendering for safety
  • Safety performance monitoring and accountability
  • Project planning and design
  • Causes of accidents
  • Leadership commitment
  • Actions plans

You will also receive a comprehensive set of documents, tools and templates that will help you improve your health and safety practices.

This one-day interactive course looks at the construction process from conceptual idea to finished project. Participants examine the key elements of the construction process that determine the success or failure of a project and actions they can take to integrate safety into that process.

The course offers leaders in the New Zealand construction industry an opportunity to get together to discuss ways in which it can achieve world-class standards.
