Site Safe respects your privacy. Information collected is done so in connection with the products and services we offer. Site Safe takes reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of information held and does not retain information for longer than it is needed. Site Safe has made a commitment to comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1993 which relate to the collection, storage, usage and disclosure of personal information. Preferences

Some personal and company preferences are recorded. Personal preferences can be managed in your 'My Site Safe'. Company preferences can be managed in the company 'My Site Safe'. These preferences are used to maintain our E-Alert mailing list and to improve our Site Safe Member Search.

Trainee (Attendee) Information

The majority of information held by Site Safe relates to Site Safe trainees. All trainees complete a Student Enrolment form which contains the following agreement (abridged):

"I understand that the purpose of collecting this information is to allow Site Safe to carry out the functions required of them as tertiary education providers. I authorise Site Safe to use this information to verify to Site Safe members my training validity and endorsements. This will enable me to enter Site Safe Head of Agreement / Charter worksites..."

Online Booking - Trainee (Attendee) Information

Trainee information entered into the Site Safe Online Booking System is used 1) to aid trainers and administrators to process trainees at the course and 2) to provide the following features on the Site Safe website:

  • My Course Tickets (displays your upcoming training with a link to the Sales Order)
  • Manage My Company's Trainees (displays upcoming training of trainees linked to your company)

Online Booking - Purchaser Information

When you make a purchase on the Site Safe website we record the information required to process your booking with us. All the information you enter during the booking process, with the exception of any Credit Card details, is retained. You have the opportunity to update these details in your Dashboard.

Cookies and Browsing Information

Cookies and session information are stored on this website. Cookies record information about your online preferences and allow us to tailor the website to your interests. Users have the opportunity, using their browser settings, to set their devices to accept all cookies, to notify them when a cookie is issued, or not to receive cookies at any time. Information supplied by cookies and session information can help us to analyse the profile of our visitors and help us to provide you with a better user experience. For example: if on a previous visit you went to our Advanced Passport page, we might find this out from your cookie and highlight other higher level course information on your second and subsequent visits.
