About Arron Russell
Arron joined Site Safe in 2019 as a safety advisor, trainer and consultant in the construction industry. Arron brings sound knowledge across the board in health and safety-related matters from a training and advisory perspective.
Arron served as a qualified Fitter Welder and Fitter and Turner in the New Zealand Army. He also has a manufacturing background working for the Laminex Group making boards for the New Zealand and Australian markets. Arron also worked in the security industry in investigations, security guard, and training.
Arron has been a health and safety instructor for the last eight years teaching high-risk work including heights, confined spaces and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP). Additionally, he has been a trainer for hazard and risk management, permit systems (Issuer and Receiver), fire extinguisher and fire warden, and health and safety representative courses.
Arron has worked as a trainer and advisor to companies in New Zealand including Fonterra, Fulton Hogan, Auckland Council and Downers, alongside other companies as part of the role.
