As an award-winning health and safety advisor with more than 10 years’ experience, Sarah has led health and safety programmes on major civil and infrastructure projects, including the $630 million Mackays to Peka Peka expressway. Formerly a Senior Health and Safety Advisor for Fletcher Construction, Sarah has hands-on experience working with subcontractors and workers to lift health and safety practices, and improve on-site attitudes to safety.

Sarah has a proven passion for the industry and holds a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from Massey University. A graduate member of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management, Sarah has delivered successful risk and health management strategies which have demonstrated significant return on investment and driven down injury rates. With experience in conducting investigations, and qualifications in a range of technical areas, Sarah excels in connecting and engaging with contractors as an educator, coach and mentor.
