Don Roberts

Don is the General Manager of Health & Safety and Environment for Advanced Group based at their National Support Office in Auckland. He has a strong background in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems and has held senior Health & Safety Management positions working for major multi-national companies in the UK, Europe, Middle East, and New Zealand.

Don started off his career as an engineering apprentice and has a diploma in Mechanical and Production Engineering. He has been a professional auditor for many years and holds professional audit qualifications, having spent many years as Certification Manager with one of the world’s leading certification bodies.

As a professional auditor he has been exposed to a diverse range of industry sectors and cultures in many different countries over the years, which he believes has given him a unique ability to view the world from many different angles and enjoys collaborating with people from all walks of life. He has a real passion for Health, Safety and Sustainability practices and has always challenged himself to set and maintain high personal standards throughout his career.
