Rodney Grant

Rodney Grant joined the Site Safe Board as a General Director in 2026. Based in Tauranga, he brings practical experience across construction, infrastructure, hire, trades training and industry associations.

He is part-time General Manager of the New Zealand Concrete Contractors Association, supporting safety, competence and productivity across the sector.

Rodney began in the plumbing trades before moving into senior sales, operations and general management roles, giving him a strong connection to work on the ground. He has also led industry associations in the hire, elevating work platform and forklift sectors, supporting guidance, accreditation and training programmes.

Rodney brings a practical perspective, focused on safer, more capable and resilient sectors.
