Site Safe the new home for Canterbury Safety Charter Resources

Following the dissolution of the Canterbury Safety Charter in December 2024, Site Safe has been designated as the kaitiaki (steward) of Safety Charter resources developed over its years of operation. Before publishing, the content was thoroughly reviewed to ensure it remains relevant, accurate, and aligned with current industry good practice.
The guidance notes aim to help you consider how to lead in health and safety regardless of your role – whether you are a worker, supervisor, manager, or director. The guidance notes present three themes for developing leadership capability, each with specific focus areas for action. These themes and focus areas apply to organisations of all sizes.
The Toolbox Talks follow the Charter’s ‘I AM Safe’ model to identify, assess, and manage risks and compliment the suite of Toolbox Talks and practical safety advice already available on the Site Safe website.
