About Anweshan Roy
Overview
Anweshan is an experienced health and safety professional with a background in high‑risk construction environments and frontline emergency response. Prior to joining Site Safe, he served as a Health and Safety Officer with a tier‑1 commercial construction company, where he was responsible for supporting the implementation of regulatory requirements and ensuring robust safety practices across complex project settings. His professional experience also includes frontline work with Wellington Free Ambulance and as a First Aid Instructor with the New Zealand Red Cross, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of incident response, worker wellbeing, and risk management.
He is further strengthening his academic foundation through postgraduate study in workplace health and safety, enabling him to apply evidence‑based approaches to risk reduction and safety improvement. Anweshan is committed to supporting organisations in fostering strong safety cultures, enhancing capability, and ensuring that workers are able to carry out their duties safely and confidently.
