Certificate in Construction Site Safety

Every Site Safe course you do is a step closer to graduating with a tertiary qualification. To graduate you need a minimum of 40 Site Safe certificate credits.

Site Safe, in collaboration with Unitec Institute of Technology, has developed the Certificate in Construction Site Safety. This provides essential training for both workers and management in the construction industry.

As soon as you attend your first Site Safe course you'll start accumulating certificate credits towards achieving the Unitec Certificate in Construction Site Safety.

With the Certificate in Construction Site Safety you will:

  • Become a health and safety leader in your chosen career
  • Demonstrate your commitment to safety training
  • Proudly stand for safety in the New Zealand construction industry

Many of our courses are also linked to NZQA Unit Standards, so not only will you be working your way towards the Unitec Certificate in Construction Safety, your Record of Achievement with NZQA will also be updated with your learning.

Completed courses are only counted once towards the Certificate in Construction Site Safety.

A small portion of trainees do not meet the eligibility criteria set by the New Zealand government for enrolling in the Unitec/Site Safe Certificate in Construction Site Safety.
