Tony Alexander is a renowned Economics Analyst and Commentator in New Zealand.

After leaving corporate life in 2019, he launched Tony’s View, a weekly economic publication whose audience grew rapidly to 27,000 subscribers. Having guided audiences through the Global Financial Crisis, he applied the same grounded approach to the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on economic resilience and practical strategies for businesses.

Recognising a need for ground-level property insights, he established a series of targeted monthly industry surveys tracking residential real estate, mortgage advisory trends, property management, and consumer spending. He is now sponsored by major industry leaders like REINZ, mortgages.co.nz, and Crockers Property Management.

Today, alongside my premium publication Tview Premium, he regularly writes and speaks for wealth management and property sector clients. My work includes weekly and monthly media engagements, such as Tea with Tony for NZ Home Loans analysing interest rates, housing market dynamics, and construction trends in plain, accessible language.
