Site Safe Board welcomes new and returning Directors

Site Safe is pleased to welcome Rodney Grant as a new General Director on the Site Safe Board, following the 2026 Board election. Karyn Beattie, Grant Thomas and Maurice Davis have also been re-elected and will continue bringing their experience, insight and commitment to safer work across the construction sector. Together, they bring practical industry knowledge, governance experience and a shared focus on helping Site Safe support members and the wider industry.

About Rodney Grant

Based in Tauranga, Rodney brings practical experience across construction, infrastructure, hire, trades training and industry associations. He is part-time General Manager of the New Zealand Concrete Contractors Association, supporting safety, competence and productivity across the concrete contracting sector. Rodney brings a strong understanding of work on the ground and a focus on safer, more capable and resilient sectors.

Continuing Directors

Karyn Beattie, Grant Thomas and Maurice Davis have each been re-elected to the Board, bringing valuable experience across health and safety, commercial construction, property and worker representation. Their continued involvement provides important continuity as Site Safe works alongside industry to support better health and safety outcomes across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Site Safe Chief Executive Brett Murray says it is great to welcome Rodney to the Board and to have Karyn, Grant and Maurice continuing in their roles.
