Site Safe Annual General Meeting – 19 August 2026

Shape what comes next for safety in our sector

The Site Safe AGM is where members decide the direction of our organisation – from the people on our Board to the priorities we take forward for the year ahead.

Board nominations now open

We’re also seeking nominations for three general director positions. If you know someone who can help shape the future of safety in our industry, or you’d like to contribute yourself, we encourage you to put a name forward. Nominees just need to be a Site Safe member to be eligible.

Download the nomination form below and email your completed nomination pack to aborrie@sitesafe.org.nz

Nominations close at midday (12pm) Monday 6 July 2026.

Voting is easy

Voting opens on 30 July and is quick and easy

You’ll receive a secure email from Electionz (iro@electionz.com), our independent election provider, with everything you need to vote, including your unique PIN and passcode.

We need 200 members to vote to reach quorum. Without this, we can’t formally progress key decisions.

Members will be asked to vote on the following matters:

  1. Acceptance of the annual report and summary financial statement
  2. Acceptance of auditor
  3. Setting of Directors’ fees
  4. Board director positions.

Why it matters

The AGM gives members an important role in shaping Site Safe:

  • Electing the people who represent your voice on our Board
  • Voting on the decisions that guide Site Safe’s work
  • Helping ensure the organisation reflects the needs of industry.

What to expect

At this year’s AGM, Site Safe Chair Will Peet and Chief Executive Brett Murray will share what we delivered for members in 2025, what we’re focused on next, and how we’re continuing to advocate for our members in the health and safety decisions that matter.

Additional business

The AGM is also an opportunity for member discussion. If there’s additional business you’d like considered, please email aborrie@sitesafe.org.nz
